Break-away

Breakaways are a tear-away safety feature that ensures the gas system is closed if the vehicle is started while the gun is still connected. 

Disconnection is automatic and instantaneous, whether the system is pressurised or not. Breakaways are reusable and can be safely reconnected.

With no risk of accidental disconnection, it eliminates prolonged shutdowns, thus preserving the efficiency of the system.

Compliance: Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) and Directive 2014/68/EU.

Slow filling of light vehicles or vent lines
Fast filling of light or heavy duty vehicles
Protection of the refuelling line of vehicles running on compressed natural gas.
